There was an involuntary change to our printer's color profile in early October that changed colors slightly. If you ordered a mat prior to October of 2024, and you re-order that same mat again, there will be a color variation.

Mat Care
- Machine wash on cold/gentle cycle, tumble dry on low or air dry. Allow mat to completely dry before placing mat on floor.
- All stains MUST be pre-treated with your preferred stain remover prior to washing and drying to help minimize permanent staining.
- Never use bleach or harsh chemicals to treat.
- To reduce fading, avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight.
- Recommended for indoor use only.
- Always ensure both the mat and your floor are dry before placing the mat. Remove moisture that may become trapped under your mat.

This was my first Matterly rug. I like that the materials used to make this are safe - it was the biggest factor that went into my decision to buy this rug. The second biggest factor is that it is American made. I have no problem paying more for a quality, American made product!
I replaced another rug with this Matterly rug, because my previous rug’s backing was latex AND it was disintegrating. We were unknowingly breathing in the dust, and I had been wondering why we consistently had some minor respiratory issues. I even got the house radon/mold tested - nope, wasn’t that! I threw out the old rug, cleaned the area, and got this one from Matterly. I am so far very happy with the rug - and no more breathing issues! It is being used in an office with a computer chair that sits atop. The chair moves and doors open/close over the rug with ease. It stays in place over my hardwood floor. I hope Matterly comes up with additional designs because I did have a hard time finding a design that would fit well in my house. Overall, I think this is a great product and would buy it again!
I received this mat two weeks ago and I am completely obsessed. The design is gorgeous, and it looks great no matter where I place it. I initially planned to put it under my Peloton, but I ended up trying it in my half bath and fell in love with the way it looks there. I think I might need to order a second one!
The low profile means my mom, kids, and dogs aren’t tripping over it, and if they did, they’d be welcomed by the soft, smooth, suede-like texture of the mat—a quality I haven’t seen in any other products. The quality here is second to none. Like I said, obsessed!
These mats are amazing and everything I want in a kitchen area and front door rug/mat. They are durable, absorbant, and aesthetically pleasing. I will keep buying. They blow the competition away.
