How do I know what size doormat to buy?
Start by measuring the width of your door (or doors). Your doormat should cover at least 80–100% of that width for proper coverage and visual balance. For single doors, a 34" to 38" wide mat usually does the trick; for single doors with sidelights, opt for a larger doormat of 58" wide. For double doors or French doors, go with a 70" wide doormat.
